The One Horse H1 buffer adds approximately 0.8 oz over standard carbine buffer weight, using an internal tungsten insert to increase density without altering external length. The added mass slows the buffer’s rearward travel and extends its time in the tube before returning to battery, moderating bolt carrier velocity through the recoil stroke and tightening the timing window between unlocking, extraction, and return to battery. Manufactured to mil-spec dimensions for drop-in compatibility with a mil-spec buffer tube.
