The 7.5″ (pistol gas) or 10.5″ (carbine gas), both 1:7 and 1/2×28.
Pick the 7.5″, 10.5″ or 16″. All are 1:7 with pistol-length gas and a 5/8×24 thread.
The 16″ SOCOM is 1:8 with mid-length gas, like the One Horse 16″ mid-length rifles. The 16″ M4 is 1:7 with carbine gas.
A complete upper comes with the barrel, handguard, BCG and charging handle installed.

Every One Horse .300 BLK barrel and the 7.5″, 10.5″ and 16″ M4 5.56/.223 barrels are 1:7. The 16″ 5.56/.223 SOCOM barrel is 1:8.
.300 BLK makes less gas than 5.56, so the gas port sits closer to the chamber, where there’s enough pressure to cycle the action. All three One Horse .300 BLK barrels, including the 16″, use pistol-length gas.
5.56/.223 barrels are threaded 1/2×28. .300 BLK barrels are threaded 5/8×24. Match your muzzle device and suppressor mount to the thread.
The 16″ 5.56/.223 mid-length rifles and the 16″ complete upper use a 1:8 twist, mid-length gas barrel. The 16″ M4 barrel (OH-BR01) is a 1:7, carbine-gas option.
Yes. The gas tube must match the gas system length, and the handguard length should suit the barrel. See the AR-15 handguard guide and the AR-15 parts list.
No. The chamber and bore are different. Never load .300 BLK in a 5.56/.223 chamber. Read 300 Blackout vs 5.56.
