Short barrels cycle hard. On Express pistols the gas system, bolt carrier group and buffer and spring are matched to the FRS, so the pistol runs smooth in SEMI and Super-Semi.

Three Express FRS pistols: the 10.5″ Express MLOK and 10.5″ Express QUAD in 5.56/.223, and the 12″ Express .22LR pistol. Each one ships with the Atrius Forced Reset selector (FRS) installed, tuned and test fired in Brownstown, Indiana. Our standard and SD pistols do not offer the FRS.
The Atrius FRS has three positions: SAFE, SEMI and Super-Semi. In Super-Semi the selector pushes the trigger forward after every shot, and it still fires one round per trigger pull. A single-side FRS is standard, and an ambidextrous FRS is offered as an installed upgrade on the product page.
