We build AR-platform rifles and pistols, titanium suppressors, and accessories — made by Americans, with 100% US-made parts. We sell direct to consumers through theonehorse.com, through dealers and distributors, and through OEM partnerships. We were founded in 2025, and we're growing fast.

The role

We're looking for a Firearms Assembly Technician to build and inspect AR-platform rifles, pistols, and suppressors on our production floor. You'll assemble lowers and uppers, fit and torque components to spec, and run function and safety checks before a product ships. Precision matters — every rifle that leaves this building has our name on it.

No prior firearms experience required — we'll train the right person. What matters is that you're mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and take quality seriously.

What you'll do

• Assemble lower and upper receivers for rifles and pistols to spec
• Fit, torque, and stake components using hand and pneumatic tools
• Perform function, safety, and headspace checks before sign-off
• Inspect incoming parts and flag defects before assembly
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation
• Follow all ATF and safety procedures for handling firearms on the line
• Keep accurate production and serial number records
• Pitch in on suppressor and accessory assembly as volume requires

What we're looking for

• Mechanically inclined, with good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
• Comfortable using hand tools, torque wrenches, and gauges; firearms assembly experience is a plus
• Able to stand, lift up to 50 lbs, and work on your feet for a full shift
• Reliable and on time — production depends on it
• Able to pass a background check; must not be a felon as required to work around and handle firearms under federal law
• Comfortable in a small, fast-moving company where priorities shift quickly
